Alan Knox is an owner and web developer for Full Throttle Development. He started working professionally in software development in 1983 as a junior in high school. After completing a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, he continued to design and
develop software and hardware systems, from high speed image processing and embedded controllers to database and web applications.
Alan has focused on web development for the past 7 years, and he began working with WordPress around three years ago. He is married to his elementary school sweetheart - although they waited until after high school to marry - and they have two children and two dogs. Alan and his family make their home in Youngsville, NC.
Alan is speaking on the topic “Implementing WordPress in Corporate and Educational Environments”. Some of the strengths of WordPress include its flexibility and customizability. There are many applications of WordPress in both the corporate world and in educational institutions.
